What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and closing high-impact partnerships that expand Seeking Alpha’s distribution, licensing footprint, and revenue opportunities. You will work closely with Product, Data, Legal, Finance, and Marketing to execute our partnership strategy, operationalize deals, and ensure they deliver meaningful value for Seeking Alpha and our partners.

Must Have

• 3-5 years of experience in business development or partnerships, with a clear track record closing commercial or licensing deals.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating complex agreements (e.g., licensing, distribution, data feeds, APIs).
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment platforms, and how market data is consumed.
• Ability to build, manage, and prioritize a BD pipeline, moving opportunities from outreach to close.
• Excellent communication, deal-structuring, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to Have

• Direct experience with financial data feeds, APIs, or market-data licensing models.
• Experience working with brokerages, fintech apps, enterprise research platforms, or financial media partners.
• Familiarity with content licensing, RSS/feed technology, or data-delivery workflows.
