Job description

As our newest Business Development Manager, you will directly contribute to business growth by working with prospective customers as the initial point of contact for Virtual Incentives.

You will be responsible for driving new leads through various outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, cold calls), as well as qualifying inbound leads and attending conferences. Using a marketing mindset, you’ll use a personalized approach to build relationships with leads.

Once the lead is qualified, you will  manage your deal pipeline and close new business opportunities. This role reports to our Vice President of Business Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new leads through strategic communications and campaigns leading to consistently meeting/exceeding monthly lead goals
  • Qualify prospects to meet target client requirements
  • Manage a pipeline of prospects and move them through the sales funnel to closing
  • Report and manage client relationships using Salesforce and Hubspot

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of sales or business development experience
  • Personal discipline and self motivation; the initiative to work independently on sourcing new leads and opportunities
  • Ability to work collectively with a team on constructing solutions to meet client needs
  • Eagerness to learn, try new tactics and improve upon existing processes
  • Prior experience with Microsoft or Google Office
  • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree

Ideal Candidates also have:

  • Experience exceeding monthly lead sourcing or revenue targets is a plus
  • Experience using Google Office Suite
  • Experience using Salesforce

Job Type:

  • Full-time
  • Independent Contributor Role - not a team manager
  • Hybrid role - 2 -3 days per week from our NYC Midtown office space
  • Possibility for client-facing and conference travel
