What does the Role Include?
The Business Development Director will be responsible for identifying and developing new revenue opportunities for Ceragon’s software solutions and managed services, engaging strategic customers and partners, launching targeted go-to-market initiatives, and shaping commercially viable offerings that address real-world operational and business challenges.
This role is accountable for driving Ceragon’s growth across software-led and service-based solutions, with a focus on opening new markets, developing partner routes, and scaling recurring revenue. The scope includes Tier-1 and Tier-2/3 CSPs, private networks, and vertical industries with critical communications infrastructure.
Permanent objectives include expanding Ceragon’s market presence in underserved or strategic segments, increasing the volume of qualified opportunities for recurring managed services, and supporting the company’s evolution from project-based delivery to long-term service engagements.
What Will You Do as Part of The Role?
- Targeting and engaging decision-makers at Tier-1 and Tier-2/3 CSPs, as well as private networks and infrastructure operators.
- Identifying customer pain points and framing bundled solutions that combine software, managed operations, field services, and consulting.
- Leading business development campaigns around specific use cases.
- Building and managing regional partner ecosystems, including agents, integrators, and service subcontractors.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to align solution design, pricing, onboarding, and delivery processes.
- Providing structured feedback to product, service, and finance teams to continuously improve offer packaging and go-to-market effectiveness.
Requirements
What does it Required From You?
- 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or GTM leadership in telecom software, OSS/BSS, or managed services.
- Preferably has prior experience working within a major communications service provider (CSP) – ideally in roles related to network operations, planning, strategy, or service delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new markets and manage complex solution sales across Tier-1 and Tier-2/3 CSPs.
- Strong understanding of telecom operations (NOC, field services, network maintenance, software lifecycle, customer SLAs).
- Proven success selling recurring managed services or software-as-a-service (SaaS) models
- Experience working with or managing indirect sales channels, partners, or service agents
- Strong commercial and interpersonal skills, with the ability to shape business models and value propositions collaboratively.
- Familiarity with service design models, partner engagement frameworks, and regional go-to-market planning.
- Fluent in English; willing to travel internationally (~25–40%).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field is required.
- Master’s degree (MBA or technical discipline) - A strong advantage
