RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans and executes sales activities to achieve Business Line Coating & Adhesive Resins targets for Türkiye.
- Manages and develops customer relationships that are consistent with growth strategies of the Business Line Coatings & Adhesive Resins.
- Establishes in the context of Regional Business Development a comprehensive business/sales strategy/market research approach
through Cross BL synergies. - Beyond regular business initiation, evaluates and flanks M&A opportunities, JVs, Toll Producing Agreements for all Business Lines
- Aligns growth strategy in the assigned region with the Business Lines,
Key Account Managers, Country Head & Regional Business Development.
- Prepare, implement and execute sales strategy and achieve volume and revenue targets. Visit customers frequently and enter visit reports in a timely manner into the CRM system. Prepare frequent sales forecasts and enter relevant data as required.
- Pro-actively identify customer needs and sales opportunities with new and existing customers and prepare and follow up on customer proposals and enter pricing negotiations. Evaluate and provide updated pricing information to customers. Ensure profit levels are maintained according to company guidelines & pricing matrices.
- Build and develop positive relationships with customers and distributors in assigned regions as required and appropriate.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for supervisors, accurately capturing the market environment, sales and competitor activities
- Contribute new ideas, vision and information useful for the definition of the sales strategy that will differentiate the company with new and existing customers.
- Organize and implement events, conferences, fair participations and other PR actions for the respective Business Lines and fully comply with all Evonik Group guidelines
- Monitor major industry developments, maps stakeholders and market segments of core interest.
- Analyze and evaluate data concerning political and economic trends, local / regional development, competition, peer situation and marketing & sales processes and their impact on the assigned region.
- Establish and manage access to key players involved, sets up initial sales process in newly created business cases in close coordination with the local Business Managers to improve growth in assigned area.
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or industrial engineering
- Min. 3-5 years experience in marketing and/or sales, having proved performance results.
- Profound understanding of financial & marketing techniques, used to evaluate projects/products/market.
- Strong technical background, ability to engage in technical discussions with accounts/partners regarding application areas.
- Excellent communication and cooperation skills, a team player with personal initiative
