Position Mission
The Business Development Manager spearheads the sales of our co-manufacturing, toll processing, and white labeling services for Arizona, identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. This role also spearheads the implementation and execution of brand licensing in other state markets, ensuring successful market entry and growth.
By nurturing strategic partnerships and driving revenue, the manager will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and achieving our business development objectives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of brand licensing deals in new markets.
- Primary point of contact with clientele and partners.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams inside GS and with clients to ensure seamless market entry. This includes Operations, Marketing & Sales.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and timelines for brand launches.
- Proactively monitor performance metrics and adjust plans as needed.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through excellent service and support.
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Work with our Sales team and manager of third party accounts to present customized proposals and negotiate contracts.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights.
- Provide feedback on market conditions and competitor activities.
- Work closely with marketing, production, and legal teams to align objectives.
- Assist in product development initiatives based on client feedback.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Travel within the state and to other markets as necessary for client meetings and business development activities.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Uphold the company's values and maintain a professional image at all times.

Education & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a business development or sales role
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Desired experience/exposure:
- Manufacturing operations; cannabis cultivation and extraction.
- Retail operations.
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age; pursuant to A.R.S. §36-2801.10.
- Must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or the Arizona Department of Health Services, pursuant to A.R.S. § 36-2804.01.
- Valid Arizona State Issued ID
