About this Role

Fandom is growing! Our Business Development Manager opportunity is based at Fanatical in Rugeley, UK, and reports to our Head of Business Development.

Our Fanatical team is a fan of digital games and entertainment, and is proud of creating a vibrant platform for fans to find keys to some of the best online games across the globe.

As a Business Development Manager, you will take a lead role in driving new partner outreach for Fanatical, onboarding the latest and greatest game to an ever-growing platform, building unique curated bundles and driving amazing results for your partner accounts.

You Will...

  • Ensure that Fanatical identifies the hottest new games, approaching developers and publishers to add their titles to the Fanatical store.
  • Deliver against clear catalog expansion KPIs, displaying a measurable and accountable performance on acquiring new games for Fanatical
  • Negotiate and complete the agreement process with publishers, protecting commercial interests and launching new content onto Fanatical with an onboarding plan to drive immediate return
  • Take direct responsibility for the account management of key Fanatical publishing partners to manage and grow sales for their catalog, building effective and measurable long-standing relationships.
  • Maximise licensing partners’ revenue via commercially rewarding sales and promotional opportunities, working with the Commercial team to include their titles in appropriate promotions.
  • Take responsibility for specific promotional builds, such as individual bundles, and support the Commercial team in creating engaging promotions to delight our customer base, across both the store and bundle channels, driving high sales volume to achieve KPI targets.
  • Help Fanatical to grow its product offering into new areas across the digital landscape.
  • Provide all deliverables to the Operations team and ensure that titles are created in a timely fashion and launched on Fanatical in accordance with agreed plans.
  • Work with the marketing channels where required to ensure that key product launches receive the appropriate level of support to deliver against targets.

You Have...

  • At least 5 years of business development/sales experience, preferably within the games industry, with a relevant and up to date client list
  • Strong commercial acumen, focused on key business goals
  • A complete understanding and strong experience of business development practices, deal structures and account management
  • A strong understanding of the games industry and a passion for gaming
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional B2B interpersonal skills
