Job Title: Business Development Manager - Mining

Job Description:
Our client s a global sustainability leader that provides solutions and services for water treatment, hygiene, and infection prevention is looking for Business Development Manager based in Senegal. This senior-level sales position involves selling the organization's products and services by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects. The role also includes providing technical support and independently managing a significant portion of the district portfolio. As a team lead and district champion, you will train others and embody safety leadership. You will be recognized as an expert in more than one area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for revenue and profit growth of company programs and services.
- Build relationships with existing customers by executing system assurance programs that meet their key business needs using a consultative sales approach.
- Convert strategic competitive accounts and sell new technologies to current customers with strong account leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7 years of technical sales or field sales support experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.).
- Relevant industrial experience in the mining industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record in business development and sales within the mining industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
