Job SummaryThe Trade Show & Business Development (BD) Manager II oversees strategic planning, coordination, execution & evaluation of all trade show & event activities. This role partners with the trade show house, vendors & internal stakeholders to ensure successful events, brand consistency & budget adherence. It also supports BD through events & targeted outreach. Responsibilities include managing the annual calendar, planning & analysis, logistics, registrations, sponsorships, attendee engagement, branding, timelines, marketing collaboration, pre/during/post-show activities, content support, budget monitoring & strategic BD initiatives.

- Gathers and analyzes data evaluating new business opportunities or assessing potential markets, to assist executive teams in decision making and planning.
- Prepares proposals, reports, or presentations demonstrating the potential value of new business opportunities.
- May also include responsibilities for International Business Development Including:
- Overseeing attainment and improvement of international competitive position. Develops strategies to maximize sales volumes through effective financial management. Implements international marketing and sales policies. Evaluates program results to enhance operations and accomplish further success.
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
- Discipline/Major: Business, Marketing or other related degree preferred
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Ability to foster teamwork. Management skills. Oral and written communication skills. Ability to build collaborative relationships. Customer service skills. Interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
