The Role

Your role as a Business Development  Manager in our team:

Gravite is seeking a talented Business Development Manager (f/m/x) to join our team of mobile enthusiasts in beautiful Hamburg!

We are a leading provider of mobile programmatic advertising services for major app publishers, offering cutting-edge technology solutions to numerous global companies to optimize their revenue models. With billions of ad requests every month, our mission is to generate maximum advertising revenue for our clients.

Our tightly-knit international team of 38 developers, key account managers, marketers, and business development managers share a common passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and onboarding new publisher businesses. Strong business development experience in the digital or mobile advertising industry is essential.

  • You will effectively identify, qualify, pitch and close new business with top international App publishers and developers, guaranteeing the business growth in the mobile ecosystem.
  • You will continuously prospect for new business by leveraging your existing network and cultivating new relationships. Your professional network will be a key discussion point during the interview process.
  • You will work closely with other team members in our organisation, who are involved in the different stages of the on-boarding process of new clients.
  • You will coordinate and review new Sales activities including your own performance.
  • You will be making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income.
  • You will be establish yourself as a subject matter expert in mobile, and in-app programmatic trends across the ad tech and digital ecosystem
  • You will represent Gravite at trade exhibitions, conferences, and events to promote our solutions.

What you bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in selling or closing new business in the ad tech ecosystem, app environment or gaming industry on an international level.
  • Strong knowledge & familiarity with internet advertising models, ad optimization, audience trends, and technologies.
  • Existing international networks in the Ad-Tech, mobile or gaming space.
  • Self-motivated, independent, high-performing individual, with ability to learn and become productive extremely fast.
  • Team player mentality with collaboration, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-centric, consultative sales professional that can quickly understand their target customers market, business & challenges.
  • Exceptional organisational, presentation, and communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Superb relationship building skills that can develop credibility with executives and demonstrable business acumen.
  • Proficient in MS Office package, experience with a CRM system (HubSpot) is a plus. 
  • Full business fluency in English is required, other languages are a plus.
