Corpay is looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join their thriving Corporate Sales team and focus on generating new business in the Business-to-Business (B2B) payments segment. This is an exciting opportunity in a corporate sales environment where you will be exposed to the competitive and coveted financial technology sector.

Job Duties:


·       Drive to achieve monthly targets by identifying, qualifying and closing prospects.

  • Present the Company’s global payment and risk management solutions to corporates in Singapore and successfully convert these prospects into the Company’s clients.
  • Attend face-to-face appointments with prospect to conduct needs analysis and discovery.
  • Build a pipeline of potential clients through effective prospecting within the Singapore market.
  • Leveraging your industry network to open up new opportunities for Corpay by; attracting new clients, identifying potential client opportunities, providing industry insight, building market awareness of Corpay and representing us in the industry
  • Follow along the sales process to gain the knowledge and skills required to advance your career.
  • Continually marketing to those prospects who are not ready to move to Corpay by making periodic calls, sending timely market updates and marketing materials.
  • Make regular updates to the company CRM system, Salesforce.com.

Requirements:


  • 2-5 years of B2B Sales Experience (international payments or banking experience an advantage)
  • Proven success in the ability to self-generate and convert a pipeline of corporate prospects into customers.
  • Strong numeracy and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent Mandarin language skills are a very large advantage.
  • Experience with CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce.com preferred);
  • Knowledge of the financial markets will be a plus, along with payment process understanding (training will be given).
  • Solid understanding of Compliance as it relates to the Corporate Payments Industry
  • Demonstrated level of sales confidence during the interview process.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong sense of professionalism.
  • Tenacity, resilience and a positive outlook.
  • Confidence to liaise with Directors and C-Level Executives of large corporate entities.
  • Ability to work in a metrics reporting environment.
  • The ability to work independently and as a team.
