Job Description

  • Take ownership of driving commercial growth in Austria by expanding our footprint in the e-mobility ecosystem.
  • Position vaylen’s backend platform as a key enabler for efficient and scalable operation of EV charging infrastructure across various sectors.
  • Identify and capitalize on market trends, customer needs, and regulatory developments within the Austrian e-mobility landscape.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders – including business leaders, public and private infrastructure operators, and strategic partners.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle: from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing, with a focus on long-term partnerships.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic account development, upselling, and expansion into new use cases and customer segments.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through proactive account management, escalation handling, and solution alignment.
  • Maintain a well-organized pipeline using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce), keeping all activities and touchpoints well-documented.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to deliver tailored solutions and customer value in Austria.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, e-mobility, energy, or infrastructure-related industries.
  • Proven track record in managing complex sales processes and building relationships with enterprise or public-sector clients.
  • Deep understanding of the Austrian market and its business culture, ideally with an existing network in relevant sectors.
  • Strong organizational skills, independence, and a proactive, hands-on approach to driving business.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and a data-driven mindset when it comes to sales prioritization and forecasting.
  • Fluent German (native level) and strong English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Based in Austria and willing to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as needed.
