Regional One Health is currently seeking a Business Development Liaison for our Business Growth Center Department.
A Brief Overview
The Business Development Liaison Position is responsible for coordinating and implementing business development and outreach efforts to build and enhance Regional One Health's and UT Regional One Physician's relationships with potential referral sources, affiliated practice groups, and target organizations and support groups. The Business Development Manager Position focuses on developing and improving referral relationships and opportunities within the provider community to increase the selection of Regional One Health as a preferred health system for inpatient and outpatient services. Primary responsibilities include identifying, coordinating, and analyzing physician and provider relations tactics which support strategies that generate increased referrals, grow market share, enhance providers' awareness of the health system's capacity, and improve provider satisfaction.
What you will do
- Establishes relationships to develop new and penetrate existing referral sources through field visit prospecting, telemarketing, mailings, luncheons/meetings, and other business development tactics
- Educates referral sources on Regional One Health services and activities
- Coordinates visits for new and existing referring clinicians at location with staff and physicians; coordinates visits for new UTROP physicians to potential referral sources
- Represents Regional One Health at appropriate business-generating events, trade shows and community functions and assists physicians and their staff at events and other activities where the physician or practice is a featured speaker or participant
- Assists in educating practice managers and physicians to marketing opportunities, work with practice managers to enhance referral experience
- Promotes and builds awareness of providers within the health system and throughout the community
- Thoroughly researches possible referral sources to understand where and why they refer patients to selected facilities. Works, under the direction of Director of Business Development, with key service lines and departments to implement solutions to improve patient and provider experiences with the health system
- Serves as a problem solver to assists providers and their staffs in resolving problems encountered within the health system
- Visits physicians and physician office staffs and other potential referral sources throughout the target area
- Tracks and report patient inquiries and referrals and conversion to patient visits
- Gathers and analyze provider referral data, provide summaries and recommendations to system and practice plan leaders
- Builds a database of referral sources including detailed profiles; tracks and manages interactions through use the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).
- Conducts research, identifies relevant industry, business and professional organizations and actively participates in function
- Develops speaking engagement opportunities to increase the visibility of ROH services and physicians
- Represents Regional One Health at key events and meetings
- Assists business development director in drafting of marketing materials and identifying appropriate new sales tactics to continue growth
- Manages the calendar and coordinate meetings and events with ROH employees, support groups, and organizations at Regional One Health facilities to increase awareness of ROH services

Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Health Care Administration, or related field Required
- Minimum 3 years experience in intangible service sales, medical device, or pharmaceutical sales; healthcare experience Preferred
