Position Summary

Interconnect Solutions (ICS) segment within Qnity, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead the identification, development, and execution of strategic growth opportunities in AI datacenter market, especially focusing on data center power and thermal management at the board, rack and sub-system levels. This individual will work across ICS lines of businesses, commercial and technology functions to build a robust portfolio of initiatives aligned with industry trends, customer roadmaps, segment strategies and ICS’ technology capabilities.
This role is ideal for a connector and catalyst—someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, strategy, and execution. The successful candidate will engage customers, partners, industry players, and internal commercial and technology leaders to target key opportunities within the rapidly growing AI datacenter ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Portfolio Development: Identify and shape a portfolio of growth opportunities in power and thermal management in AI datacenters.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate across commercial, R&D, and operations teams to drive commercial and development opportunities.
  • Customer & Market Engagement: Build strong relationships with key customers, consortia, and ecosystem partners to understand unmet needs and collaboratively develop solutions.
  • Program Management: Lead cross-business opportunities from conception through execution, including business case development, resource alignment, and milestone tracking.
  • Technology Integration: Translate customer and market needs into actionable technology development plans in collaboration with R&D, leveraging Qnity’s broad materials and process capabilities.
  • Internal Enablement: Facilitate knowledge sharing and alignment across ICS lines of businesses to ensure cohesive execution and maximize synergies.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Qnity in industry forums and contribute to shaping the company’s point of view on the future of AI datacenter space.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with lean innovation and transformation frameworks.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field.
  • 5-7 years’ experience and background in the power electronics industry and knowledge of PCB / module / subassembly level power delivery and packaging is required.
  • Knowledge of materials used in thermal and power management and electrical insulation at the board, rack and sub-system levels is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in business development, strategic partnerships, or innovation portfolio management.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
