About the Role
The Business Development Executive will acquire new Payments and Financial Counterparty KYC customers as we continue to grow rapidly in the EMEA Region. You'll be responsible for prospecting and growing revenue within a defined geographic market. The role will require close collaboration with the regional sales team to maximise revenue opportunities. Travel will be required to support customers and attend industry events.
Responsibilities
Identify and engage new B2B clients across the EMEA region.
Execute outbound prospecting strategies including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn engagement, event participation, and other innovative approaches.
Manage and convert inbound leads within your assigned territory.
Lead consultative sales processes, including product demonstrations, presentations, and responses to tenders.
Clearly communicate the value proposition and use cases of the product portfolio.
Negotiate, draft, and finalize sales agreements.
Stay informed about market trends, regulatory updates, competitive landscape, and new product developments.
Maintain a healthy and up-to-date sales pipeline.
Accurately document client interactions, pipeline status, and forecasts using Salesforce CRM.
Leverage sales tools such as Salesforce, Lusha, and Gong to enhance productivity and insights.
Requirements:
Fluency in French is mandatory (any additional language is a plus).
Demonstrated experience in B2B business development.
2 years international account to account payments industry experience (preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in data or SaaS sales within the EMEA region
Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or similar frameworks.

Primary Location Base Pay Range: France - Paris (Rue de Bercy) €51,100 - €85,300. Total Target Cash Range: €78,500 - €131,100. If performed in any of the following locations: DEU – Home Based – Berlin; DEU Home Based – Merseburg; DEU Home Based – Bad Soden; Germany – Berlin (Leipziger Platz); Germany – Düsseldorf (LexisNexis); Germany – Karlsruhe; Germany – Merseburg; Germany – Bonn; Germany – Kusterdingen; Germany – DUS – Johannstrasse; Home Based – Baden‑Württemberg; Home Based – Bremen; Home Based – Lower Saxony; Home Based – North Rhine‑Westphalia; or Home Based – Rhineland‑Palatinate, the base pay range is €57,200 - €106,200. The total target cash range is €87,900 - €163,500. Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter.
