The Role

The Business Development Executive (BDE) will focus on building relationships with prospects and converting them to clients. Candidates should be comfortable opening doors with key stakeholders within large enterprise-level organizations.

Main duties include researching companies to determine if they are a fit to work with our organization. Research individuals within qualified companies to understand who the buyers and influencers are who would benefit from an engagement with us. Prospecting to buyers and influencers through referrals, networking, social media, and cold calling to generate meaningful conversations. You will leverage the knowledge of Turnberry Labs offerings to demonstrate our value to potential clients and identify areas in which we can support them. Once an opportunity has been qualified, the BDE will work closely with the buying team from the client as well as the internal pursuit team to create innovative, custom solutions that meet the client's requirements. The primary focus of the pursuit is to engage in mutually beneficial agreements. The primary role of the BDE during the pursuit will be to advance the deal by understanding the buying process and ensuring we move to a resolution. Once the sale is complete, the BDE will continue to foster relationships with our Delivery team members.

Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to grow Turnberry Labs as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities
  • Researching companies, prospective buyers, and, influencers

  • Develop qualified leads independently and in conjunction with our marketing team

  • Creating and maintaining a database of prospective clients and a pipeline of opportunities using our CRM software

  • Design and execute highly custom prospect campaigns for potential clients

  • Actively listen to clients' needs to understand their objectives, and match those objectives to Turnberry Labs core offerings when appropriate

  • Participate in client qualification conversations with the objective of identifying qualified business opportunities within large enterprise-level prospects that align with our core offerings

  • Partner with our Delivery organization to complete a needs analysis and draft informative proposals on qualified opportunities.

  • Work with clients to understand their buying process and timeline and successfully manage the journey

  • Experience closing the sales cycle promptly

  • Negotiating agreement terms and timelines

  • Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting

  • Working closely with our internal delivery organization to develop, create, and execute a strategic account plan for key clients.

Requirements
  • Experience researching companies and target buyers within those first to determine if they are a fit for our services, and second, develop a prospecting strategy to begin initial conversations.

  • Experience cultivating meaningful relationships with Sr. Directors through C-Level executives through conventional and creative mediums (phone, email, social media, local associations, etc)

  • Experience assisting multiple stakeholders move through the buying journey, creating internal alignment along the way

  • Experience working with client executives to negotiate the terms of an agreement

  • A proven ability to bring opportunities to a conclusion in a timely manner

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to demonstrate patience and enthusiasm while communicating with potential clients

  • Self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

  • Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team

Desired Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to sell consulting-related technology services to large enterprises
