We are seeking an ambitious and driven Business Development Executive to lead our growth initiatives in the international insurance technology and fintech sectors within the industry. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of both the insurance and financial technology landscapes, coupled with a passion for innovation. A proven track record of forging strong business relationships and strategic partnerships in an international context is essential. This role will focus on identifying new market opportunities, developing strategic alliances, and driving initiatives that enhance our presence and impact globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities in the insurance/automotive sector.
  • Proactively engage with decision-makers at insurance/automotive companies to present our software solutions and value propositions.
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify client pain points and propose customized software solutions that address their needs.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing ongoing support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, managing communication and delivering post-sales support.
  • Stay updated on the latest features and benefits of our software solutions and communicate this effectively to clients.

Requirements:

  • Present software demonstrations and deliver customized proposals to prospects.
  • Work closely with the product development, marketing, and support teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and successful project delivery.
  • Provide feedback to the product team on market trends, customer preferences, and industry needs.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process, including proposal development, presentations, and closing deals.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and revenue forecasts.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and business development strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, preferably within the insurance technology or fintech sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in developing strategic partnerships and achieving business growth objectives. 
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies and their application in the insurance industry. 
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and navigate complex business environments. 
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet business objectives.
