We are seeking a Global Business Development Director to develop and implement strategies to drive Atom Computing’s worldwide revenue growth. In this role, you will seek out new customer and market opportunities, develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders, and adeptly negotiate successful sales agreements. Through market analysis and keen awareness of the quantum computing ecosystem, you will drive sustainable financial growth and forge strong relationships with clients.
Job Requirements
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand Atom Computing’s customer base
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to cultivate a pipeline of sales opportunities and meet revenue goals, providing regular reporting on progress
- Build and maintain close strategic relationships with key customers and partners
- Shape customer offerings and drive proposals for commercial opportunities
- Develop, negotiate, and close customer and partner contracts
- Actively maintain an understanding of competitive offerings, technical developments, and industry trends that influence target markets and customers
- Develop in-depth understanding of Atom Computing’s offerings to ensure alignment with optimal business opportunities
- Represent Atom Computing globally at customer meetings, conferences, and webinars, delivering sales presentations and driving opportunities toward closure
- Up to 50% Global travel may be required
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s/MBA degree a plus
- 10+ years’ experience working in Sales/Business Development
- Experience with Government stakeholders a plus

- Demonstrated track record in closing new business and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to negotiate and communicate with high-level executives
- Ability to communicate accessibly and concisely about product offerings to customers, partners, vendors, and press

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a changing work environment
- Technical expertise in some aspect of quantum computing and ability to learn about and integrate other technical competencies across Atom Computing

The base salary range for this position is between $200,000 - $250,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, we offer a variable compensation plan and incentive stock options for equity in the company.
