Business Development Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Business Development Coordinator serves as the operations engine behind Evidence Solutions’ business development efforts. With responsibilities that span maintaining key sales materials, supporting core internal sales processes, and coordinating day-to-day operational activities, the Business Development Coordinator plays a vital role in the behind‑the‑scenes processes and administrative work that strengthens the efficiency and effectiveness of business development efforts.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Strategic Planning & Business Development for Evidence Solutions and be a member of the Evidence Solutions Business Operations Team.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
- Support the continuous improvement of internal materials, templates, and documentation to increase the efficiency of business development efforts, such as building and maintaining a comprehensive proposal library
- Oversee the archiving, updating, and centralization of key business development resources (case studies, capabilities decks, etc.), ensuring materials remain current, complete, and well‑structured
- Monitor and coordinate workflow between internal teams to ensure timely completion of sales‑related tasks, such as lead generation campaigns and prospecting efforts
- Support the development and completion of Request for Information (RFI) responses
- Act as the primary liaison between Evidence Solutions and the AQ Proposals Team
- Oversee pipeline maintenance, lead reporting, and monitor key metrics within Salesforce in collaboration with Project Coordinators
- Manage intake and coordination of RFP requests, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- Support marketing initiatives as directed by the Director of Strategic Planning & Business Development
- Manage RFP and vendor platforms related to proposal requests and submissions
- Perform additional ad hoc operational and administrative activities as directed by Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development and other Evidence Solutions colleagues as business priorities evolve
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of professional experience in the healthcare space, related or similar to pharmaceuticals or healthcare insurance
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and proactively finding solutions when processes or priorities evolve
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Minimum Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a business, healthcare, technical or operational field
Preferred:
- Experience in sales, sales operations, account management, or business development preferred
- Familiarity with SalesForce.com
- Familiarity with the healthcare space
