Education

University degree (preferably in Business, Finance or related filed)

Experience
  • Proven experience ( 3 years minimum) as a Relationship Manager in the payments/banking/financial industry
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and payments business
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships based on trust and integrity
  • Ability to bring discussions at strategic level
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant tools
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the industry

Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and Grow Customer Relationships

Build and maintain long-term relationships with assigned customers, primarily medium-sized financial institutions and market infrastructures. Identify customer needs, business opportunities, and emerging market trends to support Swift strategic initiatives, customer satisfaction, and strategic account development.

2. Develop and Execute Account Plans

Contribute to the development and execution of customer account plans, infrastructure initiatives, and commercial activities to achieve agreed business objectives in a cost-effective and customer-centric manner.

3. Drive Customer Engagement and Adoption

Coordinate and monitor customer-facing activities to support the adoption and effective use of Swift products, services, and strategic initiatives. Support larger programmes and projects led by senior account managers and business teams.

4. Serve as a Trusted Customer Contact

Act as a primary point of contact for assigned customers, building trusted relationships and ensuring timely resolution of customer queries, opportunities, and challenges through effective collaboration across Swift.

5. Promote Swift’s Strategy and Value Proposition

Represent Swift with professionalism in customer meetings, industry forums, user groups, conferences, and community events. Communicate Swift’s strategy, solutions, and industry initiatives to strengthen customer engagement and support business growth.

6. Collaborate Across Functions

Work closely with product, customer success, operations, marketing, and other commercial teams to deliver a coordinated customer experience and identify opportunities to provide integrated solutions.

7. Generate Market Intelligence and Strategic Insights

Gather and share customer feedback, competitive intelligence, industry developments, regulatory trends, and market opportunities to help shape Swift’s commercial strategy and customer engagement approach.

8. Support Strategic Industry Initiatives

Contribute to customer discussions and initiatives related to Swift’s strategic priorities, including cross-border payments transformation, ISO 20022 adoption, operational resilience, interoperability, data-driven services, and emerging financial technologies.

9. Build Knowledge and Professional Expertise

Continuously develop expertise in payments, securities, financial market infrastructures, Swift solutions, industry standards, and evolving market trends to effectively support customers and identify growth opportunities.

10. Foster Knowledge Sharing and Team Collaboration

Share best practices, customer insights, market knowledge, and successful engagement approaches with colleagues to strengthen team capabilities and contribute to a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation

National Collective Labor Contract for employees of the Banking Sector

 Salary Range: 55,000 - 85,000 EUR annually + benefits

The advertised salary range is based on full time employment.
