Sentar is seeking a Business Development/Capture Manager to expand our presence within the Colorado Springs defense community!

Role Description:

  • Analyze, research, and strategize across customers and markets to generate a market entry, customer capture plan
  • Identify and qualify opportunities to pursue
  • Develop bid strategies, pricing targets, team composition, win themes, competitive landscape, and proposal strategies for specific opportunities
  • Support the generation and submission of proposals, including proposal writing and developing BOEs
  • Customer and business partner relationship establishment, development and maintenance

Qualifications:

Clearance: Secret

Education: Bachelors degree or significant experience

Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience with government contracting within defense sector, including U.S. Space Command, Space Force, and Air Force

Qualities:

  • Strong understanding of the (industry) market and trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to develop and execute winning capture strategies

Skills Required

  • Active or eligible for Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree or significant equivalent experience
  • 10+ years relevant government contracting experience within the defense sector (US Space Command, Space Force, Air Force)
  • Experience developing and executing capture strategies, win themes, pricing, and proposal strategies
  • Experience supporting proposal generation, writing, and developing BOEs
  • Strong understanding of industry market and trends
