As part of our Financial Adviser Services (FAS) team, FAS are dedicated to supporting our client’s investment decision making process and connecting them to Vanguard's broad suite of investment products, tools and services. We do this through our experienced team which sits across Regional Sales Executives, Sales Specialists, Adviser Offer, and Sales Enablement
As the Sales Executive, you will identify, build, and develop new business opportunities for Vanguard, as well as the assistance of ongoing retention of key accounts and continue to develops sales skills and product knowledge whilst covering a smaller or less complex prospects and/or accounts independently, additionally, you will assist more senior sales executives and managers with larger and complex prospects and/or accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of panel strategy and activity with panel partners to increase NCF and maintain assets across all intermediary segments based on segmentation model to grow share of wallet.
Promote Vanguard’s portfolio construction philosophy, investment beliefs and products to financial advisers.
Develops pipeline with panel partner and implements and owns pipeline plan to increase sales velocity.
Implements high contact strategy with their panel.
Collaborate with other panels on relevant sales opportunities to leverage insights and successes.
Implement sales philosophy, methodology and behaviors framework to know our clients deeply and increase sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (i.e., Marketing, ISG, and Product to obtain support to deliver on client requirements.
Partners with senior sales and leaders to develop expertise of the market and competitive environments to help position Vanguard's services appropriately.
Participates in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Minimum of 3years client contact or sales experience is preferred as a Business Development Associate role or similar role.
Completion of RG146.
Experience in web and phone-based sales preferred.
Solid technical and product knowledge fund management offerings. Solid knowledge of the intermediary competitive environment.
Clear, confident and persuasive presentation and communication style.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
