Job Description

  • Location: Abuja & Kaduna
  • Work Mode: Hybrid  
  • Remuneration: 250,000 base pay with  performance based incentives

We are seeking highly driven and commercially aggressive Business Development Associates to accelerate growth across our food value chain services, including training, audit, research, and development. These roles are for relentless deal-closers who use every available channel to originate, pursue, and close business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing high-value deals across the food and agribusiness sector.

  • Promote and sell FHSA’s services (training, audit, R&D) to corporates (SMES/MSMES/Mid sized food value chain businesses,hospitality,hospitals,schools), SMEs, and government institutions.

  • Originate deals through cold calling, cold meetings, referrals, networking, and strategic outreach.

  • Develop compelling proposals, pitch decks, and commercial offers tailored to client needs.

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects and convert leads into paying clients.

  • Work closely with internal technical teams to design solutions and ensure strong service delivery alignment.

  • Demonstrate sufficient technical understanding to position FHSA as a strategic service partner to clients.

  • Identify and act on opportunities to expand revenue streams within existing and new accounts.

  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure contracts.

  • Represent FHSA at industry events, trade fairs, and networking forums.

  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.



Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in business development or sales (preferably in service consulting) within FMCGs,QSRs,FastFood Chains,Hospitality,Schools,Hospitals.

  • Strong business to business experience is required

  • Strong experience in proposal writing, cold outreach (calls and meetings), and deal closing.

  • Demonstrated track record of generating and converting leads into revenue.

  • Strong network within Northern Nigeria.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient under pressure.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in service consulting or relevant food, hospitality, education, healthcare, or FMCG sectors
  • Strong business-to-business sales experience
  • Experience in proposal writing, cold outreach, and deal closing
