STV is seeking a Business Development Analyst to join the firm in our Transportation Group. This position will be based either in New York City or one of our Pennsylvania offices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support business development by creating and maintaining project win plans, client capture plans, client strategies, and pursuit tracking in Deltek.
- Analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support Client Service Directors in using market information to guide strategy and develop compelling market analysis presentations.
- Prepare management reports using the Deltek database, as requested.
- Provide administrative and technical management support to the Transportation Division team from pursuit preparation through project initiation.
- Compile and present data-driven business cases for strategic sourcing initiatives involving direct and indirect spend.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the organization’s business plans and strategic priorities.
- Partner with departments and discipline leads to understand client business ecosystems and roadmaps.
- Help develop and implement strategic initiatives for key spend categories, considering industry dynamics and aligning with core business strategies.
- Identify opportunities that help Client Service Team Leaders optimize key market pursuits.
- Support the development, measurement, and reporting of key metrics tied to benchmark corporate initiatives.

- Experience with data management and Deltek software preferred.

- Sound judgment, prioritization, and decision-making skills, with strong professional integrity.
- This is not a remote position; employees must work in the office at least three days per week.
Qualifications:
- College degree in Business, Marketing, Political Science, Journalism, or an industry-related field.
- Ability to perform well in a high-pressure environment with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, to analyze data and prepare business development communications.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
- Marketing experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry a plus.

Compensation Range:
