YOUR MISSION :

In the context of IT projects with high regulatory stakes and tight deadlines, we are looking for a senior IT analyst capable of designing, modeling and specifying complex systems, with a high level of requirements on the quality of the deliverables.

The role is not limited to gathering business requirements. The expected analyst is responsible for the functional consistency of solutions and the production of specifications that are accurate and actionable enough to allow development and test teams to work autonomously.

Experience :

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar function (IT analyst / business analyst oriented design and specification).

• Senior level expected, with an ability to working independently, assume responsibility for the functional coherence of a perimeter, produce quality deliverables without close supervision.

• Proven experience in functional design and writing detailed specifications.

• Ability to present and explain concrete examples of deliverables achieved (models, specifications, designs).

Must Have Skills :

Business & Regulatory Understanding

• Ability to understand and structure complex business processes.

• Ability to translate regulatory texts into explicit, consistent and actionable business rules.

Process Modeling

• Mastery of BPMN process modeling.

• Use of modeling as a tool for design, clarification, and arbitration, not just documentation.

Functional Design & Business Architecture

• Ability to define a coherent functional architecture.

Identification and structuring of use cases:

• Definition of a Use Case Model.

• Modeling via Use Case Diagrams.

• Identification of interactions between use cases.

• Ability to set clear boundaries between functional responsibilities.

Detailed specification of use cases :

• Ability to describe use cases exhaustively.

• Data Modeling.

Ability to model:

• Domain Model (conceptual), Logical Data Model (UML class diagrams), Physical Data Model (ERD).

• Understanding of the links between business model, data persistence and inter-system exchanges.

• Dynamic and Behavioral Modeling (UML).

• Ability to use sequence diagrams to describe the orchestration of calls between REST components and endpoints.

• Explain synchronous and asynchronous interactions, clarify responsibilities and the order of processing.

Ability to use state diagrams to:

• Model the life cycles of key entities, define states, transitions, trigger events, and associated rules.

• Identify invalid states and error cases.

• API Design & Integration.

Ability to model process implementation via REST API:

• Clear definition of REST interfaces.

• Ability to describe the detailed operation of an endpoint.

Nice to Have Skills :

• Good understanding of the European VAT OSS legislation.

• Experience on systems subject to strong regulatory constraints (taxation, finance, compliance).

• Ability to test and validate REST services (e.g. via Postman, including via scripts).

• Ability to identify and anticipate cross-functional impacts (data, integration, exploitation).

• Experience working in multi-stakeholder and multi-vendor environments.

• Sensitivity to quality, functional debt and maintainability issues of systems.
