SeatGeek business consultants play a key role in this strategy.

Business consultants serve as strategic advisors to prospects and clients by directly supporting sales with named new accounts and client success with key renewals. They have a deep knowledge of industry best practices, prospect and client objectives, and SeatGeek’s products and services. They leverage this knowledge to develop strategies, assessments, and roadmaps to demonstrate a prospects’ and clients’ return on investment from SeatGeek’s offerings. 

This position can be based anywhere in the US but will require a minimum of 50% travel. 

What you'll do

  • Become a trusted advisor to key prospects and client executives
  • Facilitate strategic onsite and remote discovery sessions with prospects and clients, spanning all levels of their organization
  • Influence and align prospect and client strategies by providing timely, proactive assessments and recommendations to enable them to achieve their goals and maximize their return from a relationship with SeatGeek
  • Partner with sales in generating opportunities, progressing prospects through the sales funnel, winning buy in, and setting prospects up for ultimate success with SeatGeek  
  • Partner with CSM leadership with assessing a client’s needs, developing strategies and roadmaps for their success, and winning renewals and additional commitments
  • Serve as an industry thought leader by staying up to date on industry and market research, competitor reports, and industry best practices and macro trends
  • Work seamlessly with internal cross-functional teams to understand market needs, plan marketing messaging & strategies, influence future product & services roadmaps, and develop strategy enablement around ticketing best practices
  • Represent the SeatGeek vision by attending and speaking at industry conferences, dinners, and workshops

What you have

  • Minimum of 5 years in either sales or sales consulting, preferably within the sports or ticketing industry
  • Experience supporting high-value, complex, long sales processes
  • Experience facilitating discovery workshops and assessments with stakeholders across all levels of an organization
  • World-class oral, written, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work as a part of a large team to solve technical and business problems in varied live and virtual environments
  • Previous experience as a consultant or directly as a sales or solutions engineer is preferred

The salary range for this role is $126,000 - $193,000. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
