As a Consultant, you will be part of a team responsible for solving complex and strategic issues faced by hospitals, health systems, and medical centers. Small project teams allow you access to client executives, as well as regular contact and coaching from highly seasoned consultants. We are unique in that we offer Managers and Associates visibility within the firm and exposure to a broad range of healthcare projects, including strategy, workforce solutions, supply chain and performance improvement.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop a project’s approach and workplan. Establish milestones and due dates. assign roles, and measure project progress.
- Work with the client to ensure complete and efficient data collection and interpretation. Function as the primary data contact with clients for data-related needs.
- Communicate the goals of the engagement and the process design.
- Perform detailed quantitative analysis, build Excel models, and prepare project materials and reports including operational and financial projections.
- Develop and communicate periodic project status summations to the client including the value-added benefits provided by the project.
- Develop project findings and recommendations and assist in the design and implementation of recommended solutions. Present final deliverables to the client.
- Identify follow-on opportunities and assist in scoping follow-up engagements.
- Standardize deliverables (methodologies and templates) to facilitate utilization with other projects.
- Contribute to internal Surgical Direction projects during non-billable project time.

- Lean, PMP, or other relevant project management/process improvement certification is a plus.
