Key Responsibilities
Brownfield Conversion & Transformation
- Lead EAM workstream for Brownfield system conversion from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA
- Perform system impact assessment and simplification item analysis for EAM
- Analyze current-state maintenance and asset management processes
- Identify gaps between legacy ECC and S/4HANA EAM functionality
- Support system conversion strategy including custom code remediation and data readiness
Functional Design & Configuration
- Configure and optimize SAP EAM modules:
- Technical Object Management (Equipment & Functional Locations)
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Work Order Management
- Breakdown & Corrective Maintenance
- Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
- Spare Parts & Inventory Integration
- Align maintenance processes with S/4HANA best practices
- Design future-state processes and functional specifications
- Support integration with:
- Materials Management (MM)
- Finance & Controlling (FI/CO)
- Project Systems (PS)
Data Migration & System Readiness
- Lead EAM master data assessment and cleansing
- Oversee migration of:
- Equipment & Functional Locations
- Maintenance Plans & Task Lists
- BOMs and Serial Numbers
- Historical Maintenance Orders
- Support migration tools and data validation activities
- Ensure asset and maintenance history integrity post-conversion
Testing & Deployment
- Develop and execute Functional Unit Testing (FUT) and Integration Testing
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Assist cutover planning and go-live readiness
- Provide hypercare and post-go-live stabilization
Stakeholder & Project Collaboration
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements
- Collaborate with technical, data migration, and Basis teams
- Provide solution workshops and user training
- Support change management initiatives

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (formerly SAP PM)
- Proven experience in Brownfield S/4HANA system conversions
- Deep knowledge of maintenance lifecycle processes
- Understanding of S/4HANA simplification impacts on EAM
- Familiarity with Fiori apps for maintenance operations
Technical & Tools Knowledge
- Experience with SAP Migration Cockpit / LTMC
- Knowledge of data migration frameworks
- Understanding of SAP integration architecture
- Custom enhancements & user-exits impact analysis
Project Experience
- 2+ full lifecycle SAP EAM implementations
- At least 1 Brownfield S/4HANA conversion project
- Experience in large enterprise environments
- Strong documentation and testing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA EAM Certification
- Experience with Intelligent Asset Management
- Knowledge of Mobility solutions for maintenance
- Exposure to Industry 4.0 asset strategies
- Experience in working for Public Sector Organization projects.
