As a Business Architect, you will play a key role in aligning business objectives with technology solutions, ensuring that our organization's enterprise architecture supports its strategic goals. Leveraging your expertise in business analysis and enterprise architecture, you will define and optimize business capabilities, processes, and services to drive operational efficiency, innovation, and growth. Your insights will guide decision-making processes and facilitate the development of scalable and agile business solutions.

What about the role responsibilities? 

1.    Business Capability Modeling:

·       Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, strategies, and challenges.

·       Define and model business capabilities to support the organization's strategic goals and objectives.

·       Identify gaps and opportunities for enhancing business capabilities to improve efficiency and competitiveness.

2.    Business Process Optimization:

·       Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

·       Design and optimize end-to-end business processes to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.

·       Develop business process models, workflows, and documentation to support process improvement initiatives.

3.    Business Requirements Management:

·       Elicit, analyze, and prioritize business requirements from stakeholders across various business units.

·       Translate business requirements into clear and concise specifications for IT solutions and services.

·       Ensure alignment between business requirements and enterprise architecture principles and standards.

4.    Customer Journey Mapping:

·       Map customer journeys to understand and improve customer interactions across various touchpoints.

·       Identify pain points, opportunities, and moments of truth in the customer journey to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement customer-centric solutions and experiences.

5.    Enterprise Architecture Alignment:

·       Work closely with enterprise architects to ensure alignment between business architecture and IT architecture.

·       Define and maintain business architecture artifacts, including business capability maps, process models, and requirements documentation.

·       Participate in enterprise architecture governance processes to ensure compliance with architectural standards and frameworks.


Requirements

What should you have to fit in this role?

·       Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

·       Enterprise Architect with 6-10 years of experience.

·       Led establishment of EA Offices and supported entities in obtaining EA certification from Saudi DGA (Digital Government Authority).

·       Possess advanced understanding of EA practices and methodologies including TOGAF and NORA frameworks.

·       Hands-on experience with developing domain-specific architectures such as Business, Applications, Data, and Technology Architectures.

·       TOGAF Certified.

·       Arabic speaker is a must.

·       Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

·       In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, microservices architecture, API design, security architecture, and emerging technologies.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

·       Strategic thinker with a business-oriented mindset and a demonstrated ability to align technology initiatives with business goals.


To succeed in this role, it's nice to have:

·      Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders across business units and functional areas, facilitating collaboration and consensus-building in architectural decision-making processes.

·      Proficiency in change management methodologies and practices to support the implementation of business architecture initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes, capabilities, and technologies within the organization.

·      Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements, particularly in sectors such as finance, healthcare, or government, to ensure that business architecture solutions adhere to regulatory standards and mitigate compliance risks.
