We are seeking a Business Architect to define and maintain business architecture across banking environments, ensuring alignment between business strategy, capabilities, processes, operating models, and enterprise architecture. The role will support transformation initiatives by defining current and target states, identifying architecture gaps, and translating business objectives into clear architectural requirements. The Business Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, and technology teams to ensure solutions deliver the required business capabilities while aligning with governance and applicable SAMA requirements.

Develop and maintain Business Architecture models, standards, and documentation.
Define business capabilities and maintain business capability maps.
Develop current-state (baseline) and target-state Business Architecture.
Conduct gap and impact analysis between current and target states.
Translate business strategy and objectives into business capabilities and architectural requirements.
Map key business processes, value streams, and operating models.
Ensure business requirements are aligned with Enterprise Architecture.
Assess the business impact of proposed technology and transformation initiatives.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, and technology teams.
Support transformation initiatives and business capability roadmaps.
Identify business, process, capability, and technology dependencies and impacts.
Participate in architecture governance, reviews, and approval processes.
Maintain Business Architecture principles, standards, and governance documentation.
Ensure alignment with applicable banking, regulatory, and SAMA requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
More than 10+ Years of experience and 5+ years of experience in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Business Analysis, or related roles.
Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
Experience working in a SAMA-regulated environment is an advantage.
Strong experience in business capability mapping and Business Architecture modeling.
Experience defining current-state, target-state, and gap analysis.
Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture, business processes, and operating models.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
TOGAF, BIZBOK, CBAP, or similar certification is preferred

Skills Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
More than 10 years of overall experience and at least 5 years in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Business Analysis, or related roles
Experience in banking or financial services
Experience working in a SAMA-regulated environment
Strong experience in business capability mapping and Business Architecture modeling
Experience defining current-state, target-state, and gap analysis
Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture, business processes, and operating models
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
TOGAF, BIZBOK, CBAP, or similar certification
