As a Business Analytics Specialist within the Lending & Capital Strategy team, you will primarily focus on the Global Corporate Bank lending portfolio and capital implications across JPMorgan's full suite of products. You will identify trends and patterns to generate actionable insights for our various business partners and stakeholders. You will leverage data-driven insights and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth. You role will involve partnering with colleagues across various functions and locations in North America, EMEA and Asia.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the analytics function within the Lending and Capital Strategy team, ensuring effective data integration and solution development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with organizational goals, ensuring the effective use of data to drive business growth
- Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
- Apply statistical techniques to interpret data and generate actionable insights, and serve as a subject matter expert on existing reporting framework, analytical techniques, and best practices
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Bring awareness to and provide data driven analysis on root cause
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to present facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner to cross-functional partners
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Formal training in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in business analytics, with a strong understanding of data analysis and visualization techniques
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and database management (e.g., SQL)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Banking and Financial services background is an added advantage
