The Tiger Analytics team is looking for a Consulting Manager of Business Insights is responsible for collaborating with both business and IT stakeholders to support and ensure the delivery of data applications and platforms. As a Consulting Manager, you will be responsible for the analysis, adjustment, and reengineering of different aspects of the systems and business processes. You will work closely with the IT and Business Teams to provide support and identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
Job Duties:
- Analyze business requirements and work with business stakeholders
- Communicate data architecture to development teams
- Consult and perform design reviews to ensure business needs are met
- Utilize Business Intelligence tools to build and support dashboards
- Partner with other team members as well as cross-functional partners to support business processes and system solutions
- Manage and resolve client issue escalation and systemic improvements
- Partner with Business Analysts to bring new scalable solutions to business functions
- Lead validation efforts to ensure data quality
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 6 + years of experience in a BI Space. Manager Experience is preferred.
- Ability to articulate pros and cons of various technologies and platforms and architectural options
- Knowledge of Tableau and Power BI Business intelligence reporting tool is a must
- CPG or Retail experience preferred
- Command of the process of business analysis and insights, best practices, templates, etc.
- Experience in mapping complex processes and integration processes
- Experience going beyond number-crunching, reports, and dashboard creation -- ability to understand the business impact of the data and make recommendations based on your findings
- Experience with project execution and dependency management from tech teams to business users
- Experience with tools and concepts related to data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data
- Consulting experience highly preferred
