About the Role
The Business Analytics Lead is responsible for providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This position leads the development and maintenance of key performance indicator (KPI) reporting, program/customer profitability analysis, and data integrity initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and engineering teams to gather data on program & customer performance and profitability. Analyze program financials to identify trends, optimize cost, and maximize profitability
- Translate complex data findings into concise and impactful recommendations & reports for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Technical coordination and delivery of projects in software products organization that spans across Engineering, operations, product management and customer success.
- Cross-functional alignment for timelines, dependencies, and risks.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of technical programs, from planning to delivery
- Develop and maintain program schedules, track progress, and manage dependencies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Provide status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation for program plans, roadmaps, and metrics.
What You Need
- Expert knowledge in project management and coordination in a globally distributed development environment (Waterfall, Agile).
- Certified Project Management Professional (e.g. PMP)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications (i.e. Excel)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
What is nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) required; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in business/data analysis, financial analysis, operations, reporting, data analytics, data science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, leading cross-functional teams, or analytics teams.
- Experience in business analysis or a similar role, with a track record of manipulating, analyzing, curating, and reporting data.
- Experience in developing and reporting on KPIs, creating dashboards, and utilizing data visualization tools.
- Hands-on experience with data integrity, validation processes, and database management systems.
- Experience working with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
- Familiarity with financial and operational performance metrics, as well as program profitability analysis.
