Project Description:
Digital Health, a Shared Health service,
will facilitate the improvement and enablement of healthcare delivery
transformation through the use of information and communication
technology. The focus is to provide efficient,
effective information management and communication technology processes across
the provincial health sector.
Mandatory Requirements:
· Valid PRINCE2
Foundation or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification. Proof of the certification shall be provided
with the response.
· Degree, Diploma, or
Certification in Business Analysis. Proof of the Degree, Diploma or Certification shall be provided with the
response.
Skill and Experience:
· 10 years’
experience in an analyst role supporting information system implementation
projects and process mapping activities. Duties should include documenting customer requirements and business
processes and identifying where the capability gaps lie. The response should include at least 3
examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 10
years. At least 1 example must be from
an acute care environment. Examples
should include specific details of work performed.
· 6 years’ experience
implementing projects in a healthcare environment. Experience should include
analysis of healthcare service delivery and working with clinical stakeholders.
The response should include at least 1 example including project title and
duration of the project that total at least 6 years. Examples should include specific details of
work performed.
· 5 years’ experience
testing integration between healthcare information systems using the HL7
(Health level 7) integration standard with information systems to be
implemented in a clinical environment. The response should include at least 1 example including project title
and duration of the project that totals at least 5 years. Examples should include specific details of
work performed.
· 5 years’ experience
as a quality assurance analyst including testing and creating test scripts,
conducting user acceptance testing and documenting results. The response should
include at least 2 examples including project title and duration of the project
that totals at least 5 years. Examples should include specific details of work
performed.
· 2 years’ experience
working with Electronic Medical Record in a healthcare environment. The
response should include at least 1 example including project title and duration
of the project that totals at least 2 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed.
Skills Required

- 5 years' experience testing integration between healthcare information systems using the HL7 standard (include at least 1 example totalling 5 years)
- 5 years' experience as a quality assurance analyst including creating test scripts, conducting UAT and documenting results (include 2 examples totalling 5 years)
- 2 years' experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems in a healthcare environment (include at least 1 example totalling 2 years)
