Position SummaryThis role is a highly technical Business Analyst to serve as a Solution Subject Matter Expert (SME) within a complex, enterprise lottery systems environment.
The Business Analyst will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, site operations, and Software Development to ensure solutions are technically feasible, architecturally aligned, and successfully delivered.
This is a hands-on, technically grounded role suited for a BA who is comfortable operating at the intersection of systems architecture, integration, and business process design.
Serve as a technical SME for assigned solution(s), maintaining working knowledge of architecture, integrations, infrastructure components, and deployment flows.
Lead requirements definition efforts and author detailed System Requirements Specifications (SRS), including functional and non-functional requirements.
Translate business needs into structured user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Enter and manage requirements in JIRA, ensuring traceability from intake through delivery.
Respond to technical inquiries from customers and internal teams, articulating system capabilities, constraints, and integration impacts.
Partner with our corporate Development, QA, Technical Services, and Operations teams to validate feasibility and alignment.
Identify technical risks, sequencing dependencies, and integration impacts early in the lifecycle.
Support full lifecycle activities including design validation, UAT preparation, production readiness, and post-launch support.
Apply structured methodology and change management best practices to ensure governance alignment and documentation quality.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Years of Related Experience
3+ years of Business Analysis experience in complex system environments
