Job Description

You must be an experienced BA who has ideally worked on a large health related enterprise project

This is a 12-month contract opportunity through to mid-2027, based on-site in Darwin, within a high-performing, delivery-focused program team.

We are seeking experienced Business Analyst to join a major digital health transformation program supporting the delivery of a territory-wide electronic health record system.

A rare opportunity to contribute to a high-profile, large-scale public sector ICT program delivering meaningful improvements to health services and outcomes.

You will work within a fast-paced, collaborative delivery environment alongside clinical stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and project leadership.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping, defining, and delivering critical system and process requirements across complex health service domains.

You will operate across the full project lifecycle—from discovery and analysis through to implementation and testing support.

Qualifications

  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder sessions to gather and document requirements
  • Analyse and model current and future state business processes
  • Develop UML use cases and functional/technical specifications
  • Manage requirements traceability across the delivery lifecycle
  • Support implementation of custom-built solutions
  • Assist with test planning, test case creation, and execution support
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured solution documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers, SMEs, vendors, and technical teams

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex ICT environments
  • Strong capability in requirements elicitation, process mapping, and systems analysis
  • Experience with BPMN 2.0 and UML modelling
  • Exposure to large enterprise systems delivery
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
  • Experience supporting testing across the delivery lifecycle
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, multi-stakeholder environments
