Job Description

Job Title : Business Analyst- Cloud Technologies

Location : Charlotte NC

Duration : 6+ months (Possibilities of extension)

We are looking for a BA who has experience in gathering requirement for any cloud technology implementation project.

Summary:

• Client server configurations and integrations using vendor products

• Hands on experience in Information Technology focusing on cross-platform infrastructure technologies, services and product implementations.

• Experience with design, configuration, operation, repair, and tuning of technology systems.

Specialized Knowledge:

• Knowledge of complex heterogeneous multi-tier J2EE applications trouble shooting on Unix/Windows systems.

• Experience in several of the following technologies: o OS: Unix, Linux, Windows o Web/Application Servers: Apache, SunOne/iPlanet, IIS/.NET, Tomcat, Weblogic, Web sphere, JBoss o Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2

Message Bus: Tibco EMS & Business Works, IBM Message Broker & MQ o Network: TCP/IP, span port and/or network tap configuration

• Proven hands-on experience to manage independent removal of complex software products, in Unix, Linux, and Windows server environments to manage a technical change implementation across environments.

• Participation in discussions for software removal process, BMC Remedy, implementation and the documentation of procedures as needed.

• Hands on knowledge with Application Performance Management (APM) tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, CA Introscope, Quest Foglight, an advantage

• Scripting background (Linux Shel, Perl, Windows Powershell), an advantage

• Respond to operational issues while managing internal and external customers, an advantage

• Utilizes troubleshooting techniques to determine problem root cause, an advantage

• Familiarity with Web application deployment and administration process, an advantage

Qualifications

Required Skills:

· Cloud Computing – Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technologies and best practices that can be leveraged within Cloud Computing environments, such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc.

· DevOps – Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technologies and best practices that can be leveraged within DevOps environments, such as Continuous Integration Testing, Continuous Delivery, etc.
