Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to help position broker analyses based on market trends, submarket fundamentals, and economic forecasting.
- Interpret data from a variety of sources to assess market's economic environment and to evaluate commercial real estate opportunities and trends
- Ability to translate data and information into clear, professional reports and analyses that offer insightful interpretation
- Develop analysis and reports to enhance client understanding of market trends and investment opportunities to use in preparing quarterly reports, strategic plans, and comparable studies.
- Assist in outlining, creating, and presenting broker analyses using Adobe InDesign. Previous InDesign experience not required, however must be comfortable using new technology.
- Create, maintain and update rent and sale comparable analyses.
- Analyze, review, and interpret real estate source documents, including operating statements, rent rolls, budgets, loan documents, operating statements, leases, and other due diligence material
- Interpret data from a variety of sources to assess market's economic environment and to evaluate commercial real estate opportunities and trends
- Ability to translate data and information into clear, professional reports and analyses that offer insightful interpretation
- Dissect trends and collaborate with senior partners to verify data that will help tell the story of a specific market
- Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and productively during time sensitive situations.
- Interact with clients, fellow team members, and Brokers
- Identify critical property level financial issues and make recommendations
- Developing disposition strategies in conjunction with team members and clients
- Assist in the production of property offering memorandums which will be used to actively market multifamily assets to the marketplace
Prerequisites:
- Undergraduate degree
- 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience
- High degree of proficiency in Excel and Word
- Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial work environment
- Experience:
- Microsoft Excel: 2-4 years (Preferred)
- Commercial real estate: 1 year (Preferred, Not Required)
- InDesign: 1-2 years (Preferred, Not Required)
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
