Role of Business Analyst: • Conduct “As Is” and Future State process mapping associated with the delivery of functionality into Global Operational departments. • Write, maintain, and reconcile User Stories to DataOPS Service Stakeholders and Consumers. • Operational checks on all processes above, collating and reporting feedback where required. • Perform User Acceptance Testing including developing testing scripts, activities to support the global team. • Liaise with IT to capture functional and define Business Non-Functional User Stories. • Comfortable integrating/reconciliation of large Reference Data sets to ensure data quality is in line with data consumers expectations. • Form part of a team responsible for collating and reporting on high quality, informative Management Information for presentation at up to including Executive level. • Assist with future training of the role to new and existing team members where required, as well as contributing to the maintenance and updates to key procedure documentation. • Provide Pod/Team leaderships on specific tasks relating to the above processes when required. • Supporting the business in determining what they “want” and “need”. • Providing analysis capabilities to determine the “what” and “how”. • Core project and programme capability, including IT relationships. • Contributing to the management of project and programme artefacts (plans, RAID, etc).

The role operates across multiple jurisdictions and asset classes, in conjunction with the business/COO/ asset class leads, legal, compliance, and middle office, as well as the various technology teams.

Requirements: • Strong background in Investment Banking Custody and Fund Services, with knowledge of Reference & Static Data, and its application within these businesses. • Security Services business knowledge is an added advantage. • Ability to deputise for the Programme and Portfolio Managers in key stakeholder forums and supply the strategic vision and make key programme level decisions. • Industry experience in a multifaceted project ideally in a Global Trading environment dealing with cross asset regulatory issues from Front office through middle and back office. • An understanding of the services offered by data service providers in the MSS OPS space (i.e., DTCC & other market vendor). • Ability to become a trusted business partner with senior management across BAU and Change teams whilst building strong relationships. • Collaboration and obtaining feedback from consumers to understand user needs and wants to drive solutions that deliver value. • Working with the change community to support the transformation of ways of working. • Demonstrate a commercial mind-set when proposing/deciding on User Stories and capturing business needs. • Builds and maintains networks with all stakeholders. • Highly skilled in use of MS Office tools, particularly MS-Excel, Word and PowerPoint, plus relevant project reporting and management tools (Clarity and MS-Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint) • Knowledge of business architecture & modelling (e.g., Data Dictionary, Logical Data Model, Process Mapping).
