Job Description:

The Business Analyst supports the Firm’s legal teams and business operations by gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for the tools and processes they rely on. This position assists with designing the integration of these processes and their associated data with downstream systems including financials, business development, experience management, and the Firm’s enterprise data warehouse. This position works under minimal supervision and relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. The Business Analyst leverages AI-powered tools to accelerate requirements gathering, documentation, and process analysis, applying sound judgment to validate and refine AI-generated output for accuracy.

- Gather, document, and prioritize business stakeholder requirements in a variety of formats, including workflow diagrams, user stories and screen mock-ups

- Collaborate with IT subject matter experts to identify and assess alternatives, conduct sizing & resource estimates, and to generate projects schedule estimates

- Measure and report on effectiveness and usability of solutions based on quantitative usage data and qualitative discussions with end-users and business stakeholders

- Facilitate and manage business requests, setting proper stakeholder and user expectations

- Assist project stakeholders in communication, training or change management

- Analyze project progress and present outcome feedback to management

- Use AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to draft and accelerate requirements documentation, user stories, and process narratives, validating and refining AI-generated output for accuracy and completeness

- Identify opportunities within existing business processes where AI-powered tools could improve efficiency, partnering with the AI Products team to scope those opportunities

- Use agentic AI platforms such as Claude Cowork, Claude Design, or similar tools to research business and technical requirements, document findings, diagram current- and future-state workflows, and prototype proposed solutions for stakeholder review

- Present findings, open questions, and prototypes clearly to attorneys and business stakeholders, adapting communication style to technical and non-technical audiences

Job Specifications

 - Bachelor’s degree

- At least five (5) years of related work experience

- Knowledge of AI-assisted prototyping and diagramming tools (e.g., Claude Design, Claude Cowork); familiarity with traditional wire-framing applications (Figma, Miro) a plus

- Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity and requirements tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) and ability to validate AI-generated output for accuracy

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to confidently walk stakeholders through ideas, open questions, and prototypes

- Knowledge of Agile methodology, including experience managing requirements, backlogs, and sprint deliverables in an Agile development environment

- Strong organizational and analytical skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment

- Ability to learn new skills and concepts quickly

- Ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours

- Ability to work independently and under own direction and initiative
