We're looking for a proactive Business Analyst to sit at the center of our product and technology work, translating how our business operates into clear requirements our development teams can build against.

About the Role:

• Serve as the connective tissue between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating clinical, operational, and commercial needs into technical realities.
• Elicit and document clear business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workflow observation, and collaborative working sessions.
• Map current-state and future-state processes, identifying gaps, redundancies, and clear automation opportunities.
• Write unambiguous user stories with testable acceptance criteria, partnering with QA and engineering to eliminate guesswork before development begins.
• Maintain and groom the product backlog alongside product managers by writing, refining, and prioritizing work items.
• Support data migration and system integration efforts, including field mapping, data validation rules, reconciliation, and cutover readiness.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) by building test scenarios, coordinating business testers, and tracking defect resolution to closure.
• Produce and maintain critical supporting documentation, including process maps, data dictionaries, release notes, and end-user training materials.
• Contribute actively to sprint ceremonies (planning, standup, review, retrospective) to keep delivery status visible and honest.

Ideal Candidates:

• Experienced: 3+ years as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a comparable requirements-focused role.
• Agile-Savvy: Demonstrated experience writing user stories and managing backlogs using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
• Analytical: Strong process mapping skills with fluency in diagramming tools like Lucidchart, Visio, or similar.
• Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal skills, with the ability to produce documentation that a busy executive and a software developer will both find highly useful.
• Organized: Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple concurrent workstreams without dropping threads.
• Collaborative: A track record of working effectively in a distributed team with proactive communication and comfort driving alignment over video and text.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare, digital health, EHR/EMR systems, or regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Experience supporting a platform migration, major system implementation, or API-based integrations.
• Exposure to behavior-driven development (BDD) and Gherkin-style (Given/When/Then) acceptance criteria.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent practical experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary seated or standing position for up to 8 hours daily while working on a computer.
• Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other digital office equipment to draft requirements and map workflows.
• Must be able to frequently communicate, present, and exchange accurate information over video conferencing platforms and in writing with distributed team members.
• Must be able to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading or documentation review.
