We are seeking a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, with a focus on documentation, communication, and desktop publishing. The ideal candidate will gather requirements, analyze business processes, and ensure clear and effective communication between all parties involved, while also managing desktop publishing tasks.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to elicit requirements.
- Document functional specifications, use cases, and process flows.
- Perform gap analysis and impact assessment for integrations and downstream systems.
- Solution Design & Advisory
- Define future-state processes and recommend best practices for insurance platforms.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure solution feasibility.
- Provide guidance on configuration and customization for Guidewire/DuckCreek modules.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as liaison between business teams, technical teams, and vendors.
- Facilitate walkthroughs and sign-offs for requirements and design documents.
- Quality Assurance & Delivery Support
- Support testing teams in defining test scenarios and validating solutions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Thought Leadership
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to knowledge repositories.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in insurance technology and digital transformation.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Experience: 13–17 years in insurance domain with strong exposure to P&C and L&A products.
- Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience in Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) and DuckCreek implementations.
- Domain Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of insurance lifecycle—Policy, Billing, Claims, Rating, Underwriting.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with integrations, data mapping, and workflow design.
- Certifications: Guidewire Certified Associate / Professional (PolicyCenter BA) or DuckCreek University certifications preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Methodologies: Agile delivery experience proficiency in tools like Jira and Confluence.
