Job Description:

Wealth Platform Journey owns innovating, delivering and maintaining pan-Wealth technological capabilities that enable TD Wealth strategic priorities. The Client Servicing Product Group owns the end-to-end shared client servicing functions across Direct Investing and Advice which include client onboarding, account maintenance, money movement, and workflow & digitization. This team works closely with other Journeys, control partners and Business Architecture to ensure that Wealth achieves the strategic commitments of Deepening Relationships, Fast & Simple and Disciplined Execution. 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Wealth Money Movement under Client Servicing Product Group - the successful candidate will directly support the Wealth Client Servicing Product Group Owner and Product Owners to push complex initiatives through to successful execution, specifically ideation, requirements, BOT testing, defect triage, and change management activities.

Job Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Business Analyst include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support innovation and ideation by applying subject matter expertise to generate forward-thinking ideas as well as critical thinking to find opportunities for improvement

  • Apply analytical skills to effectively understand business problems, impacted stakeholders, and proposed solutions to ensure alignment to TD's risk appetite

  • Deliver end-to-end business requirements for key Features by working collaboratively with various stakeholders, with a focus on the customer

  • Leverage specialized domain, product, and systems knowledge to have a thorough understanding of the business, product, and vision; provide business/product subject matter expertise as well as recognize and drive the focus toward business value

  • Identify, document, and validate current state processes and support stakeholders to design the desired future state; provide recommendations and/or direction based on the end-to-end customer experience when making decision

  • Proactive identification and management of requirement risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints

  • Contribution to Change Management deliverables (stakeholder analysis, BOT testing, gap analysis, change planning, etc.) to ensure readiness of our customers, colleagues and cross-functional stakeholder groups

  • Support implementation and post-implementation planning and activities.

  • Work autonomously as a business analyst and adopt best practices
     

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis (BA accreditation is an asset)

  • Intermediate level knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices and standards across the Journey life-cycle

  • Strong level of proactivity and ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Experience in Wealth products, systems is a strong asset

  • Experience in money movement area, i.e. account transfer, cash management, payments, contribution, deregistration, etc. preferable but not mandatory

  • Proven experience in successful requirements delivery for complex, multi-stakeholder programs/projects

  • Strong verbal/written communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills, adapting style and technique to a diverse audience

  • Prior experience in Agile requirements delivery is an asset 

  • 4 days required in the office
