Neon EVM is a high-performance, open-source platform for launching decentralized applications on the Solana blockchain using the same programming languages and developer tooling as Ethereum. Responsibilities
- Work with product managers, product marketing, and engineers to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
- Produce, prepare, review, revise, and maintain high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience, including user guides, integration guides, developer guides, API guides, in-platform documentation, and technical documents such as software and systems engineering, system operations, and testing
- Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and developer guides
- Create tutorials to help end-users interact with a variety of applications
- Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reusability and single-sourcing opportunities
- Create and maintain the information architecture
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
- Gather customer feedback on documentation to improve the usability
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience writing technical software documentation in an IT development environment
- Experience working cross-departmentally to communicate the nuts and bolts of a product
- Ability to deliver high-quality and detailed documentation
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable through text and pictures
- Excellent/fluent verbal, written, and proofreading skills in English
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Jira / Confluence or Notion / Git and GitHub
- Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
- Experience creating infographics such as diagrams, screenshots, workflows, and graphs
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to multitask, meet deadlines and prioritize work
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical scenarios to people with less technical knowledge
- Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of or experience with Web3 ecosystems and/or the blockchain industry
- Understanding of dApps architecture and ways of working with them, NFT, DAO, Tokens, and Tokenomic models
- Experience working with open-source projects
- A familiarity with API documentation for REST
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum software development teams
- Experience working with subject matter experts (SMEs) both in-person and remote
Strong Plus
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) in computer science or information technology
- Ability to read some programming code
- Experience in presenting technical information in a live setting, such as classroom training, presentations, or video conferences
