Primary Responsibilities
- Business Results & Analytics
- Manage Styrene Analysis Reporting Tool to meet reporting requirements for business
- Complete monthly financial reporting requirements
- Ensure accurate P&L reporting in coordination with Finance Department
- Develop, Evaluate, and Communicate business metric performance
- Maintain necessary interface with internal team and external consultants to maintain required input data for business analytics
- Business Planning and Support
- Develop and maintain model for Long Range Financial Planning process
- Prepare slides for relevant sections of Board of Directors meetings for SM segment reporting
- Manage Styrene sales forecast process and Picaso forecasting tool functionality
- Support pricing and invoicing process to ensure accuracy and completion
- Support business contracting process with deal analytics and summaries
- Complete monthly cost allocations
- Complete required monthly submissions for Department of Labor Statistics
- Commercial and Sales Support
- Support management of system data for accurate customer sales and margins
- Provide freight analytics to assure accurate picture of cost to service customers
- Maintain the Styrene Grid tool to support market and competitive knowledge
- Maintain records and analysis on US Styrene balance and exports
- Maintain Global Styrene supply/demand data with capacity availability
- Develop and Maintain business presentations for internal and external requirements
Job Requirements
- An effective planner and time manager to meet deadlines for multiple deliverables
- Proficiency with computer desktop applications such as Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Power BI and CoPilot
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written
- A penchant for detail and accuracy
- Four-year college degree - Preference given to Technical (Engineering) and Business Disciplines
Preferences
- Competency in data modeling a plus
- Minimum 2 years work experience with relevant industry experience preferred
