We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst cum Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams while driving Agile delivery excellence. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and Agile project execution.
The candidate will play a critical role in requirement gathering, business process analysis, sprint planning, and ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, development, and QA teams to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, translating them into user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, BRDs, FRDs, and process flows.
- Facilitate requirement workshops, gap analysis, feasibility studies, impact assessments, and UAT activities while ensuring requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming to ensure smooth sprint execution and timely delivery.
- Work closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to manage and prioritize product backlogs, align business goals with technical solutions, and ensure quality deliverables.
- Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices while promoting Agile maturity, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and track sprint progress, team velocity, burn-down charts, risks, dependencies, and delivery metrics to ensure project transparency and efficiency.
- Identify and remove project impediments, resolve process bottlenecks, and enable seamless communication between business and technical teams.
- Support digital transformation and process optimization initiatives by identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and business process improvements.
- Utilize Agile and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps for requirement management, sprint tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- 6–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst with Scrum Master responsibilities in IT projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
- Experience in requirement elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Hands-on experience managing Agile ceremonies and sprint execution.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of business process modeling and workflow analysis.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM / PSM / SAFe) preferred.
- CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent BA certification is an added advantage.
- Experience in IT Services, Digital Transformation, Cloud, API, or Enterprise Applications projects.
- Exposure to Automotive insurance domain is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
