The Team
At ScottishPower, we are committed to continually improving our services and technology to support our customers. You will be part of the Centre of Excellence, which is a multi-discipline engineering team of around 100 talented individuals. We drive the delivery of software solutions to meet the fast-moving needs of the business. We are looking for like-minded people to join us on our journey.
What you’ll be doing
ScottishPower’s Business Analysts play a key role in driving our roadmap of improvements to help deliver the best possible experience to our customers. You'll work on specific projects critical to ScottishPower’s needs and with opportunities to switch teams and areas of focus. You'll act as the bridge between the business stakeholders and the software developers, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, understood, and successfully delivered.
What you’ll bring
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience of delivering software solutions in a corporate or start-up engineering environment, or equivalent
- A passion for technology and some experience using industry-standard programming languages
- Proficiency in Power BI or Python to support data-driven decision-making
- Ability to explain complicated concepts to our business teams
