We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Payment Operations to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding the end-to-end payment processes, gathering and analyzing business requirements, and ensuring the successful implementation of solutions that enhance payment operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and payment operations, to streamline payment workflows, reduce risks, and improve the overall efficiency of the payment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business needs related to payment operations, including payment processing, clearing, and settlement.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation or improvement within payment processes. Propose solutions to enhance speed, accuracy, and security.
- Payment Systems Management: Work closely with payment platforms (ACH, SWIFT, SEPA, etc.), ensuring seamless integration and optimization of payment solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a bridge between payment operations teams, finance, compliance, and IT to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure payment processes adhere to relevant regulatory standards and organizational risk management frameworks.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRD), functional requirements documents (FRD), user stories, and workflow diagrams. Generate periodic reports for management on payment trends, system performance, and operational efficiency.
- Project Support: Assist in project planning, resource allocation, testing, and post-implementation reviews for payment-related initiatives.
- Good understanding of ASIA/APAC Local Schemes, ISO standards, SWIFT, etc.
