TITLE: Business Analyst (Multiple Positions)
LOCATION: Westlake Village, CA and various and unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. (Must be willing to work anywhere in the U.S. as the position may involve relocation to various and unanticipated client site locations; any relocation to be paid by employer pursuant to internal policy.)
DUTIES: Conduct advanced data analytics, identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks. Leverage statistical analysis techniques to reduce manual errors, accelerate batch release and improve manufacturing reliability. Present data-driven insights, aiding informed decision-making. Document precise business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Analyze business requirements and create process flows on diagrams.net, facilitating solution implementation by the development team. Assist in the design and implementation of a GxP-, GMP-, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11-compliant system to enhance regulatory readiness. Lead the validation of computerized systems and development of a secure, scalable AWS-based digital prototype for Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT) manufacturing, improving real-time visibility of data. EOE
REQTS: Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in the position offered, as a Business Analyst, or a related position. Employer will accept pre- or post- Master’s degree experience. Must have two (2) years of experience with all of the following: Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs using Flask (Python), integrating backend services with MySQL and SQLAlchemy, and optimizing database performance for high availability applications; Designing and implementing automation solutions using Azure Bot Services, Azure AD, LUIS, and QnA Maker to streamline user support and reduce operational workload; Developing and maintaining Java/Spring Boot microservices, including Twilio SMS APIs for automated notification workflows; Automating system and application tasks using Java–Selenium, improving operational efficiency and reducing manual intervention; Designing, implementing, and validating GxP-, GMP-, GCP-, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11–compliant digital systems supporting regulated life-science and manufacturing operations; and Designing and implementing AWS-based digital platforms using EC2 and RDS to enable automation and real-time insights for Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT) and CAR-T
Skills Required
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Two years of experience in the position offered, as a Business Analyst, or a related position (pre- or post-Master's experience accepted)
- Two years developing and maintaining RESTful APIs using Flask (Python)
- Two years integrating backend services with MySQL and SQLAlchemy and optimizing database performance for high-availability applications
- Two years designing and implementing automation solutions using Azure Bot Services, Azure AD, LUIS, and QnA Maker
- Two years developing and maintaining Java/Spring Boot microservices, including Twilio SMS API integration
- Two years automating system and application tasks using Java-Selenium
- Experience designing, implementing, and validating GxP-, GMP-, GCP-, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11-compliant digital systems for regulated life-science/manufacturing operations
- Experience designing and implementing AWS-based digital platforms using EC2 and RDS to enable automation and real-time insights for Cell & Gene Therapy and CAR-T
- Willingness to work/relocate anywhere in the U.S. for client site assignments
