- Your responsibilities in this role will include:
- The Business Analyst is a key liaison between product users/stakeholders and development teams with the goal of facilitating requirement elicitation to an agreed solution all within scope and committed timelines. As an SBA on our Digital Marketing Tools team, you will be working with business teams across Marketing, eCommerce, and Data Analytics to analyze, document and develop requirements which will deliver against key business initiatives.
- The Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for:
- Organizing, preparing, and leading requirements definition sessions with the business stakeholders and/or subject matter experts
- Documenting and translating complex business problems into business requirements and functional technical solutions
- Providing the right level of documentation for the audience and objective (i.e. User Stories, PRDs, Wireframes, User Journey Maps, System Requirements, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Translating requirements into concise JIRA tickets (Epics, User Stories, Tasks) with defined Acceptance Criteria
- Validation of requirements through prototyping, wireframing, and other methods to ensure they are viable and meet customer needs for sign-off
- Ensuring requirements are testable and that the testing process is properly executed
- Maintaining a traceability matrix to ensure that all requirements are met in the final product
- Managing multiple work streams, assessing priorities, and delivering complete, accurate work
- Effectively working
- 5+ years' experience as a BA/BSA preferably working in media industry or within marketing technology teams.
- Domain knowledge of Marketing, CRM or Advertising technologies and concepts
- Demonstrated ability implementing/practicing Agile software development techniques.
- Hands on experience writing user stories, leading user interviews, and capturing functional requirements using Jira and Confluence
- Degree level qualification in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving
- Detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
- Anticipates needs and takes initiative to address challenges.
- Nice to haves:
- Hands on experience with: Figma, Photoshop
- Working knowledge of: Mobile/browser testing, SQL, REST and GQL apis, Postman or equivalent, Google Analytics
