Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Business Analyst Lead based at our Avon, IN and Danville, IL locations. 


What You Will Do:


  • Lead, support, and optimize SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud and Public Cloud solutions to meet business and operational requirements.
  • Gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements for global solutions and common business processes.
  • Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into detailed functional requirements.
  • Evaluate potential solutions, recommend improvements, and secure stakeholder alignment on proposed changes.
  • Lead requirements management, project planning, testing activities, implementation priorities, and delivery schedules.
  • Support significant system changes, enhancements, troubleshooting efforts, and assigned project activities.
  • Ensure solutions and documentation align with the System Development Life Cycle, internal IT standards, regulatory requirements, and long-term business strategy.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to junior Business Analysts and team members, including support for professional development and work performance.

What You Will Need (Education):


  • Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience; or
  • Associate degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience; or
  • At least 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Skills, Experience & Abilities:


  • Experience applying project management fundamentals, including work planning, scope control, task dependencies, requirements management, and schedule management.
  • Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle and business analysis practices.
  • Experience eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, and verifying business requirements.
  • Ability to develop functional design documentation and detailed test plans.
  • Experience leading testing efforts and supporting system implementations, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement, audit controls, compliance requirements, and regulatory considerations.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, crisis-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with standard PC and Windows-based applications.
  • Ability to understand business processes within the applicable area of expertise and translate them into effective technology solutions.
